I’ve finally finished writing up a description of our fabulous honeymoon in Australia and there are lots of pictures to go along with it! There are also pictures up from our wedding. Check them out!

EDIT: Updated the directions again to get rid of the u-turn caused by the divided road.
I’ve updated the directions to the hotel from the north because the exit to Route 4 north is closed from southbound 75 and I-75 is generally messed up from 70 to Miamisburg. I also updated the directions to the church so they don’t take you through downtown Dayton. Unfortunately it doesn’t make sense to drive around Dayton if you’re heading to the church from the North, so one just has to deal with the barrels.
This news is about a month old, but for those that haven’t heard, I managed to secure a keg of Woodchuck for the wedding reception! Glorious Woodchuck.
In other news, bachelor party festivities kick off tomorrow at noon, so I need to rest up tonight.
Ahhh! 30 days to go 
: ) So exciting! Things are coming along great. The showers were all amazing and fun, all of the big stuff is pretty much set up. I need to meet with some of the people to confirm things, and put together decorations and favors and such things. Hoping to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather soon, too. Today I went over to my grandparent’s farm and visited and saw baby kitties that were amazingly cute! Things are about to get pretty busy here soon, with events going on every weekend now until the wedding. This Saturday my friends Tessia and Dustin are getting married, i’m so excited for that! All next week I am on call, which I am totally NOT excited about except that I will be happy when it’s over. The next Sunday is my birthday, which I am excited for, but not as much as usual this year as it is kind of dwarfed by upcoming wedding, which is okay , 26 is not so exciting anyway. The next weekend is my bachelorette party, followed by my sister’s confirmation the weekend before the wedding. It’s all going to go so fast! I can’t believe it’s down to one month away!
The invitations are done! I sent most of them out in the mail already, with just a few left to give to people. It was easier than I thought to put together, I really like how they turned out. It’s going to be a lot of fun to start getting those RSVP’s!
In other news, I LOVE showers! They are so much fun! The games were a blast, and I love all the gifts, thank you so muc hto everyone who came! We had the Pistick and Hess ones the last few weekends and I’m soooo excited for the one in Ottawa this weekend!
That’s about it for now, I have another dress fitting tonight! Those are a ton of fun, too, it’s looking great! I’ve also been working on a slideshow (with John’s help) of pictures to show at the reception, it’s almost done. I’m starting to get very excited for wedding!
Hello! I decided to take the week off work to relax and work on wedding stuff. Been overdue for a vacation for awhile since I asked for one in November but couldn’t take one. It worked out great, though, because I’ve been getting so much done this week! Our webpage has a lot of new things, including pages for directions, registries, and showers (see the links up top).
So far this week I have met with Kelly, (my wonderful hair stylist who is doing my hair and is super!), Katie at the Flowerman to talk about all my flowers, Helen the wedding coordinator at St. Charles, and I’ve also talked to a few people about decorations! It has been a lot of fun and everything is coming together very well. Tomorrow I’m working on getting together some pictures for a slideshow and getting a list of songs together for the DJ. Thursday I meet with Anne, who is making our cake, and Friday I’m going to try on my wedding dress with Mom!
Also I would like to add that the countdown over there tells me I’m getting married in 101 days! How awesome is that!
Hello Time is really flying, just over 6 months now! Been very busy getting things ready for Christmas and doing fun things like planning our honeymoon. We are going to Australia! WOO HOO! We will be spending about 2 weeks there, we are so excited! We’ve got all kinds of fun things planned like seeing the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforest, going to big zoos, cuddling with koalas, and SO much more.
We also booked a block of rooms at Country Inn and Suites for our guests for the wedding. They are a very nice place, and the people there were great. We’ll put up some more info soon about booking there and directions and lots of other fun stuff.
Other than that, there is not too much more planning to do for awhile. I’m kind of at that in-between time of booking everything and then getting busy again closer to the wedding. Time to catch up with other things and enjoy Christmas .
I have a dress!! It is gorgeous and I love it and I wish I could put some pictures up so you all could see, but alas, John can’t see. If you want to see let me know and I could probably e-mail you pics of the best dress in the world. Here’s a fun pic of my little sister Lucy in a dress, mainly to scare my dad 
. Everything else is going great, too. We got some wonderful bridesmaid’s dresses for all my girls, they are really pretty! I’ll put up a pic of Christina in that, too.
John and I picked out and ordered our wedding bands a couple weeks ago. They came in and we pick them up soon! We also got a great videographer, Mark King, he should be wonderful. Last Sunday we met with our pre-cana couple and got the results of our focus back. We had almost all of the same answers!
In other news, we were talking this week about honeymoon destinations, and our latest thought is going to Australia! How fun is that?? Also, just last night, my mom and sisters and Taryn got a great makeover by a Mary Kay lady, it was so much fun! I got some great makeup, too, some very fun new stuff .

Wow! We’ll be married in exaclty 8 months!! Things have been going great. My new favorite thing in the world: wedding dress shopping! It’s seriously about the most fun thing I have ever done in my life. I have not decided on one yet, but I have several that I love- deciding is so hard! In other news, we have a photographer, Laura Luhn, who will be great, she came very highly recommended. We also have a DJ, Terry Blevins, who I work with at Dayton Children’s; he is a great guy and a lot of fun! We also ordered some super-cute save the date cards from shutterfly. Hopefully we’ll be sending those out in a month or so. Our pre-cana stuff is going just fine. Other than that, not much to say, just enjoying life.
